See, that’s what the app is perfect for.

Sounds perfect Wahhhh, I don’t wanna

I love symbols and semiotics. So, the collection of logos that follows is a selection of my work which I consider some of the best results I ever got when creating symbols and meaning. These corporate brands are all real and still active. Soon I’ll be posting more detailed projects of each one here on Behance. Until then, tell me what you think of these symbols. :)

The Gambiarra poster seeks to represent the culture and the inventive characteristic of Brazilian people. With a unsual framing, the poster recalls one of the dozens of improvised popular inventions (gambiarras), typical of Brazil’s middle-class homes: attaching a steel sponge to the TV antenna to improve its signal. The inspiration for this piece comes from my childhood, where this habit was part of the daily life of my family

The way the steel sponge and the antenna were photographed intends to visually refer to an old microphone, making creativity (represented by the gambiarra itself) the voice and identity of Brazilians. The construction of this meaning is highly subjective, open and free to many interpretations.
Gambiarra participated in the 29th MCB Award, in the Poster category.

Hope you enjoy it :)
